Goldspun Support

Goldspun Support Unbeatable support for Fractional Directors, Weaving together the big picture and the small steps for success Let me help you make the most of your time.

Whatever you need to complete the puzzle and make things perfect for you let me help. I can do a range of tasks for either your business or for you personally- that will help you find time, do more and keep all of those plates spinning. My background is in business, logistics and more recently marketing/creative. I have a real obsession with perfectionism and love getting things organised. If that

's the exact opposite of you or if it's the person you'd be if only you had time then let me help. From helping you set up a personal calendar with reminders and card sending service, to listing those items on eBay I can help ensure your home life runs smoothly. And for your business I can do all those administrative tasks that take the time and stop you doing what you love, I can write professional reports or keep your customers up to date through social media. In addition I can organise your office or give your ongoing business support and advice to make sure your business is taking the steps to move forwards. It might also help you to know a little more about me so here’s a brief summary of my career to date:
• I started work within the customer service department of Bacardi Martini, that’s how I know how important good customer relations are
• From there I moved into Logistics in the same company and then for Boots- here I did project management, reporting and database creation, event organisation
• At the same time I worked freelance as a magazine editor for a UK wide warehouse closure programme- including copy, design, content generation, proof reading and production/distribution
• My next career move was a bit different- into creative management where I focussed on brand building and guardianship. I worked with a wide range of marketing streams and mediums and have a good eye for colour, photography, copy and layout
• I’ve had experience in large FMCG companies and I know the way business and marketing work. I’m by no means an expert but my practical, down to earth attitude can help you make decisions and make progress

So I’ve got a lot of the practical management skills, logistical and analytical experience as well as the more creative, marketing side of the business. I am professional, personal, friendly and most of all helpful. There is no obligation, just give me a call or drop me an email and we can arrange a face to face chat, I’ve found that most of my clients- whilst being incredibly busy- are unsure what they can give up in order to make their lives easier. Through this informal chat I can help you understand what I can do for you and out of this I will create a proposal that summarises what we discussed and options for moving forward. From there it’s up to you to decide if I can help you.

The busy is real. I’m not dismissing it.

But busy is also the reason the dreams stay dreams and the freedom you crave as female founder stays something you’re chasing rather than living. Because busy leaves no room for the building…. and the building is the thing that eventually makes the busy lighter.

Doing the operational work creates the breathing room that years of being busy couldn’t.

The business you want to grow, the version with the systems, the team that doesn’t need you in everything, the operational infrastructure that means growth feels like opportunity rather than weight — that version gets built in the windows between the busy.

We don’t need a perfect moment. We need a decision and a starting point.

Dreams, freedom, business growth.

Let’s go.

New episode of Business and a Brew is up. ☕

This week, Simon and I are digging into Patisserie Valerie. Custard slice optional but strongly recommended.

We got into how a beloved British high street institution, strawberry tarts, fancy coffees and queues out the door, turned out to have a £40 million black hole hiding behind the pretty shop window. Fictional finances. Serious questions about oversight. And prestigious auditors who somehow missed the warning signs for years.

We followed the story from a single Soho patisserie to a national chain, through the moment a routine bank check uncovered a winding up petition that apparently nobody knew about, to the millions Luke Johnson poured in trying to stop the collapse.

And we talked about the bit that gets lost in the headlines. The store closures, the lost jobs, the wiped out investments, and a legal case that still has not reached trial despite the scandal breaking in 2018. Corporate justice, it turns out, moves considerably slower than the queue for brunch on a Sunday morning.

Somehow the brand still exists. Cakes and all.

New episode of Business and a Brew is up. ☕

This week, Simon and I are telling the story of Red Bull.

And it starts — genuinely — with a jet-lagged Austrian businessman in a Thai taxi who tried a roadside tonic drunk by truck drivers and thought: I need to bring this to the world.

We got into how Dietrich Mateschitz spent years being told by experts that there was no market for energy drinks, how he ignored all of them, and how he then built one of the most powerful lifestyle brands on the planet by never once selling a drink. Only an identity.

The Stratos space jump. A Formula One team bought for $1 that became a dominant force on the grid. Events so outrageous they became the content. A founder who refused to take the company public because he cared more about the brand than a quick return.

It's a masterclass in what happens when you sell the feeling rather than the product. And a genuinely fascinating question about whether a brand built so completely around one visionary's vision can survive without him.

Yes strategy matters but it’s not the most important factor.

As a female founder you need trust yourself. Trust your vision. Trust your passion.

The money follows that commitment and authenticity.

15/05/2026

My secret is that I don’t want to work from a hundred different exotic locations.

I don’t want to make seven figures a month and to shout about it.

I don’t want to be famous.

I just want to help people. I want the money to support my family and my own goals.

That is my success, my freedom.

It might not be insta-worthy or headline grabbing but it’s real.

What does your success look like?

07/05/2026

Whatever it takes, follow your dreams and DO THE THING.
