Gugh has been on a slightly longer journey than usual this week, making the three-day sail to the Netherlands for her planned refit at Damen shipyard.

After sailing beyond the UK, past France and through Rotterdam, she is due to arrive this afternoon. It’s also a milestone for Gugh, marking the furthest east she has ever sailed.

Menawethan will depart Penzance as scheduled today, Monday 28th September. On arrival at St Mary’s, freight will be discharged and loaded before the vessel returns to Penzance in time for Tuesday morning’s high tide. All returning freight will be discharged on Tuesday afternoon.
