Many elderly, disabled and mobility-restricted people struggle to attend appointments because they have no family support, cannot travel independently or require additional assistance.

Airports, railways and public transport have long recognised the importance of passenger assistance services. As our population ages and more people live with long-term conditions, healthcare should also consider how supported mobility services can help people access appointments, rehabilitation and community care safely and independently.

Most importantly, thank you to our passengers, families, healthcare professionals, care providers, clinical research teams and supporters who trust us every day. This award belongs to all of you.

What started as a vision to ensure elderly and disabled people could travel with dignity, safety and independence has now become an award-winning service recognised across the region.

We are proud to represent Peterborough and the East of England at the UK National Finals and look forward to continuing to make a difference, one journey at a time. 💙🇬🇧🏆

For vulnerable and disabled passengers, an unreliable lift isn't an inconvenience, it's a missed hospital appointment or a care call gone unanswered. Too often that was treated as just how things are. Passenger Assist refused to accept that, building a door-through-door service that treats every journey as part of someone's care.

Dignity made the standard. On to the national final at Ideas Fest this September. 👏
