We’re looking for Class 1 or Class 2 drivers to join our growing recovery team! If you're experienced, reliable, and ready for a new challenge — we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:
🔧 Recover and transport HGVs, buses & large vehicles , alongside car and light vehicles.
🚨 Respond to breakdowns and accident scenes
🛠️ Operate specialist recovery equipment
✅ Deliver top-notch service, day or night

What You Need:
✔️ Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
✔️ CPC & Digi Tacho card
✔️ Recovery or HGV experience preferred
✔️ Flexibility with shifts and call-outs
✔️ Must pass police vetting and back ground checks due to the nature of the work

Last night was the first junior dinner for our sponsored u13 boys rugby team at Peterborough Rugby Club. The boys all looked smart and dressed for the occasion.

We are an incredibly proud sponsor of these amazing group of lads ,who have worked really hard this season developing their rugby skills, and training hard week in and week out. Out of 16 games the boys won an amazing 12 games , draw 1 and lost 3! They scored an amazing 157 tries, and conceded 57, what a score board to be Proud of boys!
We also are proud to have two of our own children involved , William our son/ grandson had an excellent year and walked away with ‘back’ of the season , playing most positions successfully in the back line and even realising full back isn’t that bad!

Hollie our daughter/granddaughter who plays for the u16 girls also came away with another treds award to add to her collection, this one is for her enjoyment of rugby! After suffering an injury 9 weeks ago Hollie is eager to now get back and start playing again.

Well done u13 Eagles , from all at Frank Ratcliffe and son Ltd! Enjoy your summer break and we look forward to seeing you playing
in 25/26 season!

U13 boys were on fire this weekend with some great performances by all, they had to work hard against Towcester who never gave up, well done all boys for a great game of rugby!

JOB VACANCY: FULL TIME RECOVERY OPERATIVE REQUIRED.
Class 1 or 2.

We are looking for a reliable recovery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely recovering heavy and light vehicles (depending on license) following various scenarios including road traffic collisions, or breakdown. The candidate ideally will have a class 1 license , however a class 2 would be acceptable. The Driver will also be responsible for maintaining the yard and vehicles in a clean and orderly condition, as well as performing basic maintenance tasks when necessary. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for this position. A full police vetting check will be required for this position.

The work will include nights and weekends on a on call rota based from home, work phone provided. Bonus standby pay is paid on weekends your on call, to enhance pay even if not call out. All candidate will need to be able to stick to strict turnaround times, so living locally to our premises, would be advantageous this means being able to respond to call outs within 30mins.

We are proud to sponsor Peterborough u14 girls , whom finally got to wear their new shirts for the first time today. They played brilliantly and walked away with a 51:7 win in their first cup game of the season! Well done girls!!!
