So the part that broke on 1212 was a rubber anti-vibration bush.
This caused a drive belt to rub against the chassis. Snap, hit and then crack an airpipr.
After stripping the rubber has been replaced with orange polyurethane.
The bush and a replacement air pipe have now been refitted.
