Transatlantic Era
It served as the main arrival and departure point for wealthy passengers traveling on ocean liners such as RMS Titanic
Its Sefton Suite includes a replica of the Titanic's First-Class Smoking Lounge.

St. Luke's Church was severely damaged by an incendiary bomb during the May Blitz of World War II in 1941, leaving it as a roofless shell known as the Bombed Out Church
The Blitz: On May 6, 1941, an German incendiary bomb hit the church and fire gutted the interior and destroyed the clock tower, causing the bells to fall.
Now used as a memorial, b**r garden and events area.
