Three Distilleries Path 🚲

Did you know, there is an amazing walking & cycle path that links Port Ellen Village to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg distilleries?

Along the way, there is also Dunyvaig Castle, stronghold of the Lords of the Isles. As well as beautiful scenery, and plenty opportunities to spot wildlife!

You might spot seals in Lagavulin bay, deer in laphroaig woods or even a white-tailed eagle soaring overhead 💛

A tour on the Rhinns of Islay ☀️

This cycle route offers beautifully changing scenery, as well as lots to see and do!

☀️ Port Charlotte - a pretty coastal village filled with a museum, restaurants, bars, beaches, a nature centre and more!

☀️ LochIndaal Lighthouse - one of Islay’s seven lighthouses, and definitely a lovely one to spot on your cycle

☀️ LochIndaal Way - a gorgeous walking & cycle path, with lots of hidden bays and scenic viewpoints to enjoy along the way

☀️ Bruichladdich Distillery - a fun-filled distillery, perfectly placed on the shores on LochIndaal

☀️ Bruichladdich Mini-Market - this handy wee market shop is the ideal for grabbing a cuppa and snacks for your journey

☀️ Single Track Roads - the winding roads make for a beautiful cycle, but remember to be careful and use passing places appropriately

☀️ Kilchoman Distillery - tucked away in North West Islay, this beautiful distillery is a must visit! Especially to stop and have some delicious lunch in their cafe

☀️ Machir Bay - the perfect beach to have a well deserved relax after your cycle! Park the bike, and walk over the sand dunes to this stunning beach
