We are doing short term stays on the boat now, it’s situated in Greenock.

6 berths so you can bring the family for a exciting weekend stay on our lovely vessel.

The boat is fully equipped for cooking and taking a few nights to chill and relax on the water.

The boat boasts hot water supply, 2 x showers 1 of which is ensuite on the boat or you can use the marinas facilities where you can find toilets and showers also.

The heating is top notch and we have heated blankets on all of the beds for those cold nights to snuggle up.

TV channels are plentiful and you can sit and have cup of tea while watching your favourite programme.

Even just for the experience of staying on a boat for a night, we have had excellent feed back so far from our previous guests.

For any enquiries get in touch directly on here, my name is Kenny and I would be happy to assist with making your stay extra special and as comfortable as possible…

PART 2

Hello everyone, so if you have followed me and read my Part #1 of my first trip/collection of “Auch aye the moo” 🐮 well I have now found some time to write the next part of the trip, I will break it down into 7/8 parts, so I will see what responses I get and see how far I go with it 😂
Remember if you follow this page it will inspire me to write and post a lot more! On the same note thanks for everyone who has started following the page and sharing it with others!

Here is Part 2…

So as I left off out of shamrock quay marina, there was a huge amount of boating traffic and luckily two of my crew had a vast amount of boating knowledge and both were competent skippers… however their knowledge and experience was more in line with sailing yachts and not motor yacht vessels. (Piloting mainly the difference between the two)
#
The rules of the water are some what different between sailing and power vessels but the main rules of the water, buoys, lights and signage still apply mostly!
Which was very very interesting as at that time I had not very much (shall I say) knowledge about the rules of the water, hence the reason for them coming with me..

We managed to get out of the river and out into the channel passing calshot castle and out past the Isle of Wight.
There was also an old fort which I cannot find the name of this place anywhere online so if anyone can comment please and let me know I have some pictures of it attached to this post you will see..

Anyhoo… We were already late setting out so we didn’t have enough time to make steady progress on this day.
At this point it had been a very long day with many hours already lost ensuring we got to the boat for the sale transfer to even proceed!

We decided to head for Poole quay boat haven, this was our first stop after around 4 hours of traveling on the boat. We all agreed a nice meal was in order and a couple of beers to settle the day!
We found a delightful restaurant called “Sambo” just out side the marina which did some delicious meat dishes carved and served right onto your plate infront of you at the table! I would almost be inclined to travel 500 miles just to go back to here just to have another meal, it was really good!

After dinner it was straight to bed with the rest of the crew as the next day was to be a steady and long trip the next day (16th may 2024). We had it all planned it out a strategy, we had worked out tides, route, calculated speed to distance range. 8 hours at 16 knots. We were ready to attack this next day head on!
Seriously what else could go wrong??? 😂
We were organised for progression and not for failure… boats being boats when everything is good it’s good but when things go bad… well things can get pretty terrible 😢

See the videos and pictures uploaded in sequence to how this part of the trip went.

Again please follow this page if you would like to the rest of the journey it was over 5 days and I will have 7/8 parts of the story with many pictures and epic details from the whole trip.

P.s it won’t let me post videos and multiple videos unfortunately on this page for some reason
