Hi guys, I have been struggling & fighting for the words to say for the past week. But there is no easy way to say this but as a family we are moving to Gatwick at end of October (please if you see our kids don't mention it at all, not got around to that bit yet...eek!!)
I have been offered & accepted an awesome job at the Airport.
I am gutted beyond words to not re-open the classes in September, but it would be crazy to start then stop again. Sadly securing premises has been hard work also (but that was not a contributing factor)
I am very lucky to have had such great committed, friends & students at the Dojo & on the mats & both myself & family will miss you all greatly, this is indeed a tough time for us, what with moving & leaving behind so much we have come to love & enjoy & basically selling the move/making it easy to swallow for the girls.
But one thing I am glad to not be around anymore is the get rich quick, get you slim quick, get black belts quick, wannabes of Weymouth. People pretending to be trained in things and teaching with no certificates or knowledge!! But mostly I will not miss people who call(ed) me Sensei and couldn't even be bothered to get on the mats or have the decency to speak to me and explain why they left.
There will be a massive cull of people in the next few days and if you can still read this or other posts from myself on FB then I thank you and gratefully appreciate your friendship!!
