🚍 Park & Ride fare changes

From 28 September 2025, we're introducing new fares for Portsmouth Park & Ride. This is the first change since the service launched in 2014.

We're adjusting fares to ensure the service remains efficient, reliable, sustainable and excellent value for money amid rising operational costs. Our streamlined fare structure includes the most popular options amongst frequent travellers so that customers benefit from a simpler choice and flexibility.

📌 New fares:
• Day ticket - £5
• Day ticket + Hoverbus - £7
• 10-trip Flexipass - £35
• 20-trip Flexipass - £60
• 50-trip Flexipass - £145

Flexipass offers a flexible and affordable option for regular travellers, with return journeys working out at between £2.90 and £3.50 per day. It’s ideal for families, friends, and colleagues, especially when car sharing.

If you hold a weekly, monthly, or annual pass, please use your remaining credit before switching to a Flexipass.

🚌 Free bus travel every weekend this September!

Portsmouth is celebrating Catch the Bus Month in style! As part of the Portsmouth Bus Service Improvement Plan, Portsmouth City Council has collaborated with local bus companies to offer free travel on all bus services every Saturday and Sunday in September when you board within the Portsmouth boundary.

📅 Dates to ride for free: 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 & 28 September

Whether you’re heading to the shops, meeting friends, or exploring the city, there’s no better time to give the bus a go!
