Our team recently coordinated the export of UK produced oat milk to the United States on a DAP basis. Working alongside our long standing partner in Chicago, we ensured all licensing and pre notification requirements were in place prior to departure - an essential step when shipping consumables to the US market.

The container routed from Southampton to Norfolk VA before transferring to the rail network for final delivery to Columbus, Ohio. Transit times to the US East Coast typically range from 7–25 days; in this instance, the ocean leg took 24 days, followed by 5 days onward by rail.

Our team has recently overseen a shipment of three 40’ high cube containers from Japan to the United Kingdom under a single bill of lading. Working in conjunction with our partner agent in Osaka in order to manage the full scope of arrangements, under FOB terms we handled sea freight, marine insurance, UK landing charges, customs clearance and final delivery.

With transit times of approximately 55 days, we support shipments from all major Japanese ports and hold customs badges across key UK gateways. Our shipping services for Japan also include LCL and air freight, as well as guidance on securing preferential duty rates under CPTPP or the UK–Japan CEPA.

Claire's fundraiser for Rowans Hospice

"In May 2026, I’ll be taking on a half marathon in support of Rowans Hospice — a charity that means so much to our family and friends.

I’m running in loving memory of my late boss turned dear friend, Miss Julie, and other incredible people we’ve lost along the way - Sherry, Fai and Colin. I’m also running with heartfelt gratitude for the amazing care, kindness and compassion Rowans Hospice showed Isla and Alfie when they lost their Mum, Ali.

The support they received made a lasting difference to our families’ and friend's lives, and this run is my way of giving something back. Every step I take is for those we love and miss, and every donation will help Rowans Hospice continue their vital work for families who need them most.

We recently supported a UK importer with their air freight from China under CFR terms. Their supplier handled delivery to Shanghai Pudong, export customs, and the flight to Heathrow — and from there, our team took over.

We arranged UK customs clearance, paid import VAT and duty to HMRC, collected the cargo from the airline, and completed final delivery to door. Thanks to our strong network across China through MarcoPoloLine, we provide a seamless service for all air freight movements, whatever the incoterm.
