I suggest something like: Support your club by playing F2F at the Bridge Club on a Monday evening ( 6:50 for a 7 pm start ) or Wednesday afternoon ( 12:50 for 1pm start ). Members wishing to play online only, can play on Friday evenings on RealBridge and if a partner is needed, contact me ( my number is in their membership book ) and I will try to arrange a suitable partner.
We are also running our assisted play and tutorial sessions F2F on a Tuesday evening ( 7pm Start ).
If our Club is to survive Covid we need members to attend in person, otherwise we will not be able to sustain our premises, which after all our hard work setting up our great facilities will be a sad day for us all.

Our History

It has been shown that regularly undertaking some form of activity that requires mental agility helps protect people from dementia as they age.

There is also a body of research which demonstrates that social interaction amongst the elderly can stave off cognitive decline.

Bridge provides both mental stimulation and social engagement - so as well asbeing enjoyable and not expensive to take part in– it’s good for you!

Preston Bridge Club has been serving the people of Preston and surrounding areas for around 60 years. Its exact date of formation is a bit of a mystery but it’s been an important part of the local amenity landscape for a long time.
