Sales Consultant - Travel

We are looking for proactive ,organised, enthusiastic sales professional with excellent customer service skills. Everybody begins as a Sales Consultant at Coach Direct Ltd and is expected to progress month by month boosting business growth year on year. So we are looking for someone who is looking for a long term opportunity.

Main duties will include answering customer enquiries by telephone, email and the in-house systems, sourcing competitive quotations from suppliers to match customer needs, and selling these services to the customer.

We require a good communicator with fantastic organisational skills and an eye for detail, who is able to work in an open office environment. Knowledge of the travel or transport industry would be a distinct advantage, however this is not a necessity, as full training will be provided.

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with an hours break for lunch. You might be required to work overtime (this may include an occasional Saturday) during peak season and should be willing to work any overtime hours as required to ensure our clients bookings are processed fully on a day to day basis.

We offer a great working environment and a competitive wage. Must have previous experience of sales and customer service also experience of high call volumes is an advantage.

The successful applicant will have use of the companies bespoke systems which automates quotation requests for coach hire, minibus hire, chauffeur hire and all passenger road transport requests for individuals and groups within the UK and Europe, expanding into other countries on rare occasions.

You will manage your own customer bookings from the initial enquiry through to a successful completion of the trip/s and post care/ followup to help keep and grow the account.

The basic wage is £18,720 per annum with an initial probation period of 6 months at £17,076.80

This is what Brighton looks like on a sober 04:00am Sunday morning at the start of a big event. You have to admire and applaud the cyclists for taking on the challenge and supporting The London to Brighton Bike Ride for such a fantastic charity. It was a great success and we very much look forward to managing the transport again in 2020.
