Meet Paul Wilkinson, our new Vice President of Commercial Operations!

We’re delighted to welcome Paul to , bringing a track record of leadership and innovation in the pharmaceutical supply chain and logistics industries.

Paul joins us with decades of experience, having spearheaded operations for some of the largest organisations in the sector, driving transformative growth and operational success. As President and Managing Director for UK and Ireland at Movianto, he oversaw an enterprise with an annual turnover of £200 million, leading a team of over 1,900 across 12 Distribution Centers and four major logistics hubs.

As Vice President of Commercial Operations at Tower, Paul will lead global efforts to enhance efficiency and ensure exceptional service across both Tower and Cold Chain Technologies, meeting the evolving needs of our valued customers worldwide.

Last week, the Tower team had the pleasure of connecting with our colleagues from Cold Chain Technologies at Tower's HQ in Theale, UK, followed by a visit to CCT's hub in Breda, Netherlands.

This collaborative meet-up provided the perfect opportunity to tour each facility, deepen our understanding of the extensive new product portfolio, and strategise plans for 2025. It also allowed us to strengthen team bonds as we continue to grow together.

We look forward to the opportunities ahead in the coming months for both Tower and CCT as we introduce our extensive product range to our customers!

recently tackled the Pretty Muddy challenge - a 5k obstacle course filled with lots of mud! The team raised an impressive £1,000 for Cancer Research UK. Well done to Luca, Louise, Gemma, Claire, and Keeley!

To celebrate Pride Month, Tower hosted a rainbow baking challenge last week!

Each department was tasked with baking a cake in a different colour, and our talented work experience student Joel assembled them into a huge Pride cake. A fantastic effort by everyone involved - Happy Pride! 🌈

We recently donated some of our IT equipment to The Turing Trust, a charity set up by Alan Turing’s family to enable IT-supported learning by reusing computers in classrooms in and around Africa.

With Tower's donation, 162 students will be able to learn vital IT skills and we have been able to offset 3 tonnes of CO2 emissions - which is the equivalent of planting 6 trees. The energy savings created are also enough to power a UK home for a year!

We are delighted to be able to support this great initiative and help the Trust to provide skills development while reducing waste and contributing to a more sustainable society.

It was an honour to host the Lord Lieutenant of The Berkshire Lieutenancy at our HQ in Theale this week, who presented Tower with our King's Award for Enterprise that we proudly won last year – adding to our previous Queen’s Award for International Trade in 2022.

We're delighted to be acknowledged for our commitment to innovation and the development of our advanced temperature-controlled containers.

It was great to be back at this year! It's been a busy week for , introducing our latest product, the KTEvolution 12 - our smallest, most portable solution yet.

Another highlight was teaming up with CRYOPDP to host a Masterclass, discussing the benefits of reusable packaging.

A big thanks to everyone who visited our stand and to the show organisers. We're looking forward to 2025!
