October so far has been completely not proper!

🩼🥾 One broken foot later, we're not letting it get us down. Orders are still going out, designs are still being dreamed up, and the kettle's still on.

At least the mugs aren't the only things that are not proper right now! 😂 If you fancy a mug with a bit of character, our Not Proper range has seconds with a stamp over the fault, so they're a bargain and each one is a little bit different. ☕

Mabels latest flying attempt didn't go too well! According to the hospital; significant sprain, broken something and this very unattractive boot for four to six weeks 🙄🥾

This unfortunately has meant canceling two craft fairs 😔 which we are desperately sorry about, but with everything else we have going on something had to give, not just the foot!

Our October Redruth Town Market is in the bag, and I’m feeling incredibly grateful!

When I started my role with Redruth Revival in September last year, we were seeing around 100–150 visitors at the market. Fast forward to today, and we’re now welcoming over 1,000 people! What an incredible journey it’s been. 🥹❤️

I honestly can’t thank the wonderful people of Redruth enough for getting behind the market, coming along month after month and supporting our independent traders. Every purchase, every visit, every recommendation to a friend helps make a difference.

I receive compliment after compliment about the market, the atmosphere, the traders and the way the town comes alive on market day. Your kind words and encouragement mean more than you know.

We’re also welcoming people from further afield, with visitors travelling from places like Plymouth to experience what Redruth has to offer. The word is getting out there!

The market is about so much more than stalls. It’s about bringing people together, celebrating our local makers and producers, supporting independent businesses and helping create a vibrant town centre that we can all feel proud of.

To every trader, visitor, supporter and person who has helped us along the way — THANK YOU! You are all part of this story. ❤️

And we’re not stopping here! Work has already begun on our November market, with a very special theme inspired by Mexico’s Day of the Dead and remembrance, celebrating the fascinating historical connection between Redruth and Mexico.

Two years ago, we had our very first wholesale order. 📦

This morning, almost exactly two years to the day, we posted that same customer their latest order. 💛

AND today we also picked up the keys to the new Get Choughed H.Q.! 🔑🖤

Within an hour, we'd met a new customer and taken an order. What a day. We're so excited!😃

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. We couldn't have got here without you. 💛🖤

Now it's time to build the flat packs and workbenches and move in properly. Watch this space... 🔨💛
