We're Recruiting.. Bike Shop Assistant Manager

Due to recent staff movement we are looking to recruit an experienced Bike Shop Assistant Manager. Dales Bike Centre is a destination location in Swaledale with great mountain biking and road cycling from the door. The Bike Shop is integral to the overall business along with a very busy café, glamping pod and bunk accommodation. A 50 bike hire fleet is a strong element of the day to day operations as well as busy bike repairs/service workshop and a compact retail area stocking many great brands. Working as part of a small team the role is to further develop and manage the retail element of the bike shop, be sales focussed with presentation and approach. Deal day to day with the ordering of new bikes, parts and accessories from industry suppliers and distributors. Process bike hire bookings and assist customers to having really positive experiences cycling the Yorkshire Dales. The ideal canididate would have bike mechanic experience to assist with repairs, adjustments and set up of bikes during busy periods. We are looking for that person who loves being around people and bikes.
