In accordance with the government changes. We will be transitioning our customs procedure for handing clearances on both import and export declarations from CHIEF to the new CDS (Customs Declarations Service).

The CHIEF system which is currently in use is unable to be adapted to the new CDS system and therefore will be turned off in two stages:

The option to use this procedure will end on the 30th September 2022 for Imports and on the 31st of March 2023 for Exports.

Delamode Nidd's clients will be migrated to the new CDS system without any assistance needed from the clients themselves.

As part of this change, Delamode Nidd's team will be asking for a different set of data when processing your customs declarations. This will be different from what has been previously requested and it is important to note that all CPC’s (Customs Procedure Codes) will change and some commodity codes will require additional information.
