🌸 Out and about with Driving Miss Daisy! 🌸

We love nothing more than helping residents from Cedar Lawn Nursing Home Romsey get out and about and enjoy a change of scenery. 💙

Today was all about good company, a lovely café, a cuppa and plenty of smiles! ☕🍰😊

For many care home residents, getting out for a simple coffee and a chat can make such a difference. It’s not just about the journey it’s about the experience, the independence and making those special little memories along the way. ❤️

At Driving Miss Daisy, we’re proud to help make these outings possible, providing friendly, caring and accessible transport for those who need a little extra support.

Then on to Nursling for Options Supported Holidays for a super gent to start his holiday.

At DMD - Romsey helping local people enjoy special days is such a great feeling.

With a special outdoor showing of Othello it was certainly not to be missed. We chatted all the way home about what a lovely evening it was.

Tuesday's Cedar Lawn Nursing Home Romsey adventure:

Last, it was Gill and Ray’s turn to choose where we headed and what a fantastic choice they made!

🏛️ Romsey Abbey was our destination, and we had a lovely time exploring this incredible piece of local history. We're so lucky to have this on our door stop.

We absolutely love our Tuesday outings. We have plenty of ideas of places we could visit, but the best part is that it’s always the residents who decide where the adventure takes us! ❤️

So… where will we be heading next? 🤔
