The purpose of the truss system was to support heavy duty cables at a height of 10m, a truss cross section was used to span the 25m gaps and support the weight of the cables. The installation took place over four site visits to Pembroke Power Station, Wales, over a period of 9 months, total time on site was nine days.
Working with Dornan Engineering and along side Davies Crane, the truss fixings were completed on site to ensure the fit was precise to the fine tolerances within the design.
