MCAServices Contract analysis laboratory and consultancy for the physical characterisation of materials.

We specialise in porosimetry (gas and mercury), surface area measurement, density measurement, particle size analysis and chemisorption. MCA Services is a contract analytical laboratory using state-of-the-art instrumentation for the physical characterisation of materials. We specialise in Gas Adsorption for the determination of BET Surface Area and porosimetry. We also offer BET Surface Area measu

rement by krypton adsorption for very low area materials. We also undertake dedicated micropore analysis using the new Micromeritics 3Flex instrument. Our porosimetry abilities are extended to cover the full range through Mercury Porosimetry and we also undertake permeability and tortuosity measurements by this technique. Density measurement is undertaken by helium pycnometry (absolute density) or mercury pycnometry (bulk and skeletal density). To compliment these techniques we also offer Particle Size Distribution by LASER Diffraction and can cater for a wide range of materials by application of different fluids. Our experience and expertise is available for interpreting data and we are always happy to assist and gain the maximum information from the results.
