Austin?

Austin who/what you may well ask?

To most Austin would mean a somewhat dubious comedy series based on Austin Powers.

How ever to those in the know Austin can only mean one thing, and that is the Austin 7 car!!!

Developed by Herhert Austin in 1920s as the UK answer to the Ford Model T Ford in bringing motoring to the masses.

The rest as they say is history.

'Be prepared'
The Scouts motto.

But there will always be an event that blindsides one, that not even the world famous scout founder Sir Baden Piwell could have anticipated.

As you will discover..

A long established local scout group was told to leave their church hall with near immediate effect, without any explanation.

Unable to locate a suitable alternative venue the scout leader had no alternative but to pack up their equipment and store it at her home and suspend their activities denying 40 disadvantaged local kids of a much needed activity.

Fortunately she had 2 car trailetrs to pack much of their equipment, but alas some had to be skipped.

Their next dilemma was towing said trailers to her home.

It was at this point that yours truly stepped up and rescued the situation.

Less than a hour and all was tucked away.

As to the actions of the Church, I will leave that to a much higher power than I!

What's in a picture you say?

This picture of our empty Blue Line 2.7t car transporter trailer says way more than you would think.

Let me explain dear reader..

Tommy recently became self employed and his shear hard work resulted in him upgrading to a commercial vehicle.

After a full day at work he hired our trailer to travel down to the Midlands to purcshe a small van. Excited as the vehicle had been described as in full working order and ready for work.

Upon return next morning he was 'gutted' that the buyer had completed lied/missed lead Tommy, hence our trailer had a wee jollie around our motorway network.

So this pic is but a symbol of the low morales that some have in our society.

Orion has many differing meanings.

To most it is a star constellation

To some in Greek mythology it was a giant huntsman

But to one individual it was/is a symbol of unrequented love!!

Kev owned his beloved Ford Orion car many many moons ago, and fell madly in love with a young nurse, who had ambitions to travel Australia.

Young Kev smitten with love had to sell his beloved car to be with his new beloved in travelling to Aussie land, only to acrimoniously spli upon arrival in Sydney!!!

Much later in life Kev decided to wrong this wrong, the car not the girl and purchase a replacement Orion which is pictured upon our Lider 2.7t gvw car transporter trailer.

The French foreign legion have a deserved reputation for being tough rescuers of desperate situations, and the occasional damsel in distress.

Here we have not quite the legion, but nonetheless French rescue service.

How so you ask?

When the two O's (Owen and Oliver) needed a trailer to help in their rescue of Owens 1990 Nissan Micra they naturally turned to yours truly Car Trailer Hire - NW who had the prefect trailer.

More importantly Oliver had the perfect but not commonly known tow vehicle, the trusty 1986 Citreon BX, who just to show authenticity still wears her original French reg plates.

Before you know it the intrepid pair and said Micra have returned home safe and sound from Great Malvern.

Just another example of the Entente Cordial, whatever that means? But sounds impressive!!

'The futurs is garlic bread.'

So said world famous Bolton comedian Peter Kay some years ago.

Sorry Peter, but the world has moved on somewhat from those prophetic words.

The future, nay present, in fact is electric. Just ask truck driver Tony's son from Widnes.

They hired our motorbike trailer to carry their Electric Motion Epure race 2022 model scrambler for a wild day out, well scrambling what else!!!

For the record we have solar panels, electric bikes, and hybrid cars, so electric is not now the future, but indeed the present for us.

Not matter the fuel that propels your vehicles we have a suitable trailer ready and waiting to transport said vehivle 7days per week.

So went that very popular unforgettable 1968 song by Mary Hopkins.

It was also sung by me and many of my cohort of 80's young wild things!!

One of those things were this car a 1980 Mk2 Ford Es**rt boy did we lust after this things, amongst other more feminine things...

Local petrol head Russell satisfied his lust but purchasing this fine example of said car.

But with a twist

Now fitted with roll cage sports seat and more importantly 2.0l Ford Duratec engine, along with a Mazda gearbox and a Mazda fuel engine system, she is nearly ready to show her moves on the race track.

All this was trusted on our Indespension CT2000 car transporter trailer.
