Literally walked to the port, hopped on the boat and off we went - oh and just like the old days - accommodation was still advertised when arriving in port. 9 Lovely Islands Next to Athens For Easy Access and Stunning Views!

This was us last year, well - not literally ;0 but we definitely enjoyed seeing these gorgeous Gordons!

Did you know I have Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 roots .... that's a whole 'thing' but also I did live in the Outer Hebrides and went to school there. Last year we managed to return (nearly...) and got as far as the Inner Hebrides; next time we will skip via the inners to eventually reach beloved Benbecula once more.

Tbh I wish I'd known about about self drive options before then as that would have made my/our planning ALOT easier.

With the current travel climate being as it is, maybe this year you are thinking of seeing our own beautiful isles?
