Today marks the start of Recyling Week 2023 ♻️

The theme this year is ‘The Big Recycling Hunt’ to draw attention to the items around the house that can be recycled but are commonly missed.

As part of the week, local authorities, partners and brands are encouraged to get involved and spread the message.

In 2021, the recycling rate for paper and cardboard packaging was 71% with 3.8 million metric tons being recycled.

Alternatively, 2.5 million metric tons of plastic packaging were generated, with only 41% getting recycled.
