Compton Abbas Airfield We're a family run airfield in Dorset with a flying club and restaurant open to all. We do recommend ringing to book a table for lunchtime.

For nearly 30 years we have been operating from our beautiful hilltop spot near Shaftesbury in Dorset. With unique views from our restaurant and runway terrace 30 miles to the horizon - its a great spot for breakfast, lunch or an afternoon snack. We offer flight experiences in a range of aircraft from modern two seaters to vintage bi-planes - you can even combine the flights with hiring a classic

Well they did it! They had to watch the 14 people go before them so needless to say they were pretty focused / terrified...

Well they did it! They had to watch the 14 people go before them so needless to say they were pretty focused / terrified by the time their turn came around. But they did it and they did it for Royal Navy Historic Flight. Would they do it again? Probably not!!!
