Wine & Food:
Wine is all the more enjoyable when accompanied by delicious food. We also pick out restaurants and traditional auberges that we have researched personally. Some meals are included in the tour, but there are also independent afternoons and evenings to make your own restaurant choices. Our trusty A&C restaurant list is available to all our guests. You are
always welcome to join our on-tour team if you prefer to dine with a group. Exclusive Access to Wineries:
We have long standing relationships with wine producers around the world and our wine guides are often personal friends of the owners and winemakers. The cellars that we visit are a mix of rising stars, famous names and our own discoveries (that have often gone on to become famous). You'll be treated to private wine tastings often with the winemaker and sit down to sumptuous dinners and rustic lunches paired with the wines! Expert Wine Guide:
You will be joined by a Wine Guide and Tour Manager. The Wine Guides are experts in their field: Masters of Wine, wine consultants, writers and some of our in-house team. Our guides introduce the regions and producers, discuss the wines and the overall wine story of the estates we visit. The Tour Managers ensure that you have a hassle free holiday - making sure everything runs smoothly ‘behind-the-scenes’. Our Choice of hotels & chateaux:
We spend a lot of time and resources choosing the hotels to best suit each tour. We stay in superb hotels, simple family run auberges, lavish chateaux, wine-estates themselves and on-board luxury yachts. If you want to know anything at all about a hotel, please do call and ask. At least one person in our team has usually visited the hotel. We can also can suggest alternatives such as room or hotel upgrades if our choice does not suit you for any reason.
