2 X Volvo Penta 270 – 2.15:1 Single Prop | Refresh Service

Here’s a start-to-finish video showing two Volvo Penta 270 stern drives (2.15:1 ratio) that came in to us for our full refresh service.

From strip-down and inspection, through refresh and detailing, right through to being placed in our clean showroom ready for delivery.
Both units were then personally hand-delivered to the customer in Lowestoft.

⚓ With summer approaching and the boating season just around the corner, now is a good time to get your boat checked over and your sterndrive refreshed, rather than leaving it until the rush starts. Getting things sorted early helps avoid delays and means you’re ready to go when the weather turns.

MerCruiser Alpha One Gen 2 | Refresh Service

Here we have two MerCruiser Alpha One Gen 2 sterndrives showing before and after from our refresh service at IVSS Marine.

Both units have now been fully completed, refreshed, and detailed, and are sitting in our clean showroom, ready for installation.

Two Volvo Penta 2 x 290-DP-C sterndrives sent in for full overhaul.

Just some of the completed stern drives, now in our warm, clean showroom and ready for the next stage.

Shown here are four fully completed stern drives, prepared and awaiting refitting once vessel-side work and weather conditions allow.

• Twin MerCruiser Alpha One Gen 2 stern drives from a 30-ft sports cruiser running twin 5.7 V8s. Further scheduled work is taking place on the vessel itself, including engine and associated works, prior to refitting when conditions are suitable.

• Twin Volvo Penta 290 DuoProp stern drives from a beautiful Sunseeker powered by twin KAD42s. Additional scheduled work is also being carried out on the engines and transom shields before final refit.

All completed customer units are stored in a warm, clean environment to ensure they remain fully protected and ready for the next stage — whether that be refitting, collection, or palletised transport.
