What a day for conservation at SEA LIFE Scarborough
Across our Conservation Day, we welcomed more than 1,000 guests, with hundreds staying on to join us for our special out-of-hours Conservation talks and activities.
Throughout the day and evening, guests had the chance to get closer to the work happening both inside the aquarium and along our coastline, with behind-the-scenes tours, talks from conservation experts, beach clean sign-ups, hands-on activities, and an afternoon rockpool experience exploring some of the incredible wildlife found right on our doorstep.
A huge thank you to all of our team, speakers, volunteers and partner organisations who gave their time, knowledge and enthusiasm. A lot of work went into bringing everything together, and seeing so many people getting involved made it incredibly worthwhile.
The event also helped us raise money for the SEA LIFE TRUST supporting vital conservation work all around the world. 💙
And finally, a special thank you to Scarborough Town Council for supporting the event through the Scarborough 400 celebrations and helping us make the day possible.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. “Sea” you all again at the next one!
