Something a little different for Lily and Lace carriages recently.
I was very honored to be asked to deliver a beautiful coloured mare Willow to her mums wedding at Samlesbury Hall.
With instructions and a list of items not to forget we were ready for the off.
Allowing plenty of time for travel and a further full pamper, Willow was tacked up to await the gorgeous bride and groom.
With a pocket full of treats and the obligatory mounting block we waited for their arrival.
Working with the photographer through a signal of nods and waves we walked Willow through to the grand entrance of the 700 year old hall.
Whereupon he worked his magic, I must say helping the bride on board with a full hooped skirt and heels was a little different from muddy yard boot mounts.
Willow was foot perfect for her owner and with a little encouragement from neighing horses via a quickly sourced YouTube video on my phone we got those pricked ear shots.
Once finished ~ we delivered Willow back to the comfort of her yard and friends.
Delivered ~ Pampered ~ Spoilt with Treats ~
A beautiful day with some lasting memories.
Thanks again Emily Wells and Kai Wells for trusting me to bring Willow along to your very special day.
