Sussex Bike Hire is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Bike Hire Shop Manager to run our bike hire shop in Seaford during the summer holidays! 🌊🚲
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves bikes, enjoys meeting people and is confident managing a busy bike hire operation.

🚲 Role: Bike Hire Shop Manager
Your role will include:
🚲 Running the day-to-day operation of the bike hire shop
😊 Welcoming customers and providing excellent customer service
🔑 Managing bike and e-bike hire bookings and collections
🔧 Carrying out bike checks, adjustments and basic maintenance
🚴 Ensuring bikes are clean, safe and ready for customers
🗺️ Helping customers with local cycling routes and recommendations
📋 Managing bookings, payments and general shop administration
📦 Keeping the shop organised and well presented
🌟 Helping visitors have a fantastic experience exploring Sussex by bike!
We’re looking for someone who:
✅ Has good practical bike knowledge and experience
✅ Is confident carrying out basic bike maintenance and adjustments
✅ Is reliable, organised and able to work independently
✅ Is friendly and confident dealing with customers
✅ Has a positive, can-do attitude
✅ Ideally has previous bike shop, bike hire or similar experience
✅ Is available to work during the summer holidays and weekends
Previous experience working with bikes is essential. Bike shop or bike hire management experience would be a big advantage.
