This Sunday 13th September 2026, will see both LS343 and RMC1490 operating together on the last day of the T1 Shrewsbury and Ironbridge tour.

There will be chances for photographing both buses together at some locations on the route as we go along.

You can just turn up and pay on the day.

Route T1 Vehicle allocation for the remaining 2 weeks of September.

As you may be aware, our T1 will be finishing on September 13th 2026.

Our closed top double decker DLA273 will working the remaining Monday and Tuesday dates in September instead of our open top bus.

As pictured Routemaster RMC1490 will be working its planned 2nd and 9th September dates.

As planned, Leyland National LS343 will be working its planned 6th and 13th September dates.

13th September will have both LS343 and RMC1490 working together on the route for our farewell day.

Update 22.08.2026

Our open top bus will not be running this week as hoped on the T1 but will be replaced by our closed top bus DLA273 still.

18/08/2026

An update on our T1 Shrewsbury & Ironbridge sightseeing tour.

August 19th will be the last planned day for our closed top DLA273 bus to operate on the tour.

Our open top bus SOL1 will be back on the tour from August Monday 24th as a new compressor has been fitted and tested and working successfully.

One pipe is needed to be replaced before allowing it back into service which will be done by the end of this week.

T1 update 11.08.2026

The T1 Shrewsbury to Ironbridge Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday services will be run with our closed top DLA273 for the forseeable future until the open top bus compressor is rebuilt, hopefully in a couple of weeks.

Next week, I should have the pipe for RMC and fitted all being well and running on the first and second Wednesday of September.

Also, it has been decided on the very last day, Sunday September 13th 2026 to run both our vintage buses Leyland National LS343 and Routemaster coach RMC1490 together, subject to availability of course.

Hello everyone,

With another kick in the teeth for me.

Unfortunately our open top bus will not be running on the sightseeing tour for the forseeable future as its air compressor has packed in unexpectedly and will need rebuilding now.

The tour will be run including this Wednesday with our Closed top double decker DLA273.

Our Routemaster RMC1490 is still off the road until the following week as the pipe is being made.

I do apologise for this and the worst case of bad luck over the last few months for the T1 tour which it is extremely rare we have problems with vehicles let along breakdowns on the road as they have regular preventative maintenance and extra checks.

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the last minute notice, RMC1490 is unfortunately not available today 05.08.2026 on our T1 route and will be replaced by our Scania opentop.

Hopefully the pipe required will have been made and fitted in the next few days ready for next week.

You will have to excuse us if the exterior of our buses are looking a bit dusty atm.

Since we hand wash our buses and don't have a custom installed wash that collects the water run off and reuses it, we are doing our bit in conserving water.

Our open top Scania on a wedding to Llansantffraid, Powys.

Sometimes we may not be able to get to venues due to narrow roads or low trees/obstructions so may have to stop down the road as we have here.

The destination blind is fine, just comes out funny on cameras in bright sunlight as the LED's actually flicker than the human eye can tell.

Unfortunately due to roadworks in Attingham Park, we are not able to serve it for the moment on our T1 route until they are completed as we are not able to pass under the trees through the alternative gate.

We found out the hard way and had to turn round on the field and go back out the entrance!
