East Midlands Railway - Important update for anyone travelling with us this week.

Temperatures 🌡️ are set to climb 📈 towards 30C & stay high through to next week.
Because of this, we're running a reduced timetable 🚉 from tomorrow, Wednesday 8th July, particularly during the hottest parts of the day.

Please only travel with us if your journey is necessary, keeping a water bottle 🚰 topped up & dress light for the journey.

Trains 🚃 may be alittle busier than usual, so give yourself extra time.

Network Rail & East Midlands Railway -

The Midland Main Line has reopened for passenger services following recovery & repair work at the site of the Bedford train collision.

Our focus remains on supporting the ongoing investigation into the incident.

Morning all,

Just to let you know that as of 5:50am this morning... there's a Cancellation 🚫 of 2 Regional Ivanhoe Services this morning which are the following Peak Train times 👇🏻
— Leaving Nottingham 07:26am calling at Sileby at 08:04am & Terminating at Leicester at 08:18am &
— Leaving Leicester at 08:40am calling at Sileby at 08:53pm & Terminating at Nottingham at 09:26am.

The Alternative is leave on the Early/Later Scheduled Train 🚉 which you'll be able to find on the East Midlands Railway website or if traveling to Leicester then to Catch the Centrebus 24a Bus Service from High Street at 07:21am or along it's Bus Route along Barrow Road (07:18/07/19am), Highgate road area (07:22am), Heathcote Drive estate (07:24/07:25/07:26am), Seagrave Road (07:27am), Swan Street/Sileby Post Office (07:28am), Back Lane (07:29am) & Cossington Road area (07:30am) where it leaves Sileby through Cossington, Rothley, passing Broadnook Garden Village, Birstall then into Leicester via Belgrave Terminating at Haymarket Bus Station 🚏.

East Midlands Railway - Following the Incident on Friday 19th June, the Railway between Bedford & Luton is Expected to remain Closed for the Remainder of this week, therefore there will be No EMR services running south of Bedford & No Thameslink services running north of Luton.

Rail Replacement Bus Services are Operating between Luton Airport Parkway, Bedford, Wellingborough & Kettering, BUT while the lines remain Closed, we Ask that Customers only Travel on these Routes if their Journey is Essential.

As the Investigation & Recovery Operation Progresses, we will provide a Updates on when Services are Expected to return to normal as soon as possible.

Hi Followers, Fans & Sileby Railway Station 🚉 Enthusiasts!

Firstly, we'd like to Apologise for being Quiet🤐... we've had a few changes to our Sileby Railway Station Adopters Team plus other commitments were a little more important (don't worry, we still Inspected &/or Reported issues to EMR Train operator as & when needed).

Sooo, over this past weekend (14th June) I (Robert James Butler) did a Clean-up 🧹/Inspection 👀/Spruce-up 🌸🌺🪷🏵️🌼 on the 2 Planters 🎍 of our Sileby Railway Station 🚉 as well as reporting any Graffiti & the missing Litterbin 🗑️ on the Loughborough/Nottingham-Bound Station Platform (noticed it Saturday while using the Train to Leicester vice-versa 😅), there are supposed to be 2 Litterbins 🗑️ on each Platform for litter 🚮 to be placed in & Not 🚯 the Floor/Railway/Embankment.

See attached Photos (After Station Adopter Duties) of both Station Platforms/Entrance Ramps as well as Station 🚉 Information ℹ️ such as Train Timetables, Contacting EMR/British Transport Police, Passenger Assist (Disabled Passengers/those with Buggies etc) as well as Local Information on Buses/Taxis & Rali-Replacement Bus-Stop 🚏 Information.
