Completed the transport of a Terex AC40 crane from Heysham to Immingham for Liebherr Group! This operation was executed smoothly, thanks to our dedicated team and the reliable support of Doherty Grab Hire & Heavy Haulage, ensuring a safe and efficient journey.
Each step of the process, from loading to transport, exemplified the high standards we maintain at SLS.
A big shout-out to our logistics crew for another job well done!

🍂 Autumn Has Arrived at SLS! 🍁
With the first cool breeze of the season, we’re welcoming the changes that autumn brings. Just like the vibrant colors of the season, SLS is full of fresh energy and excitement for what’s ahead.

Specialist Logistics Services Ltd transported and installed a giant satellite test chamber on behalf of RAL Space.

This involed customs/Vessles/Cranes/trucks and much much more.

We then revisited STFC at the beginning of this year to help Olivier Plenert and his team with the transport and instillation of the test trolly. This involed customs/cranes/specialist trailers/skating and jacking equipment.

Monday saw us return for the final piece of the puzzle. This access platform measured in at a whopping 5.99m. With the width being so wide, there was quite a few hurdles we had to overcome. Working with the local authorities/ National Highways Northamptonshire Police Derbyshire Constabulary and many more organisations, enabled us to complete this project smoothly.

This load travelled from Power System Services Ltd chesterfield, down to Harwell Science and Innovation Campus Oxfordshire.

From concept to completion, we have worked very closely with all parties involved to make this a seamless project.
