A rattling engine arrived on the wharf, and after a bit of investigation (and removing more than a few bolts! 🔧), we discovered the splines on the drive plate had worn down to almost nothing.
Out with the old and in with the new 👍

The cruising season is upon us! 🌞 and we hope everyone feels the benefits of the dredging works that took place on the North Stratford Canal over winter.⛄️
We’re looking at photos taken at Swallow Cruisers by Alasdair Lawrance that show the Barges being unloaded, Tugs in action and Excavators completing the all important work 🏗️
Glad we were able to assist Ebsford Environmental and provide them with a base to work from in their mission to clear the canal of silt! 🦸‍♂️
