📣 The 2026 fledging season is upon us and our posters will be appearing across Pembrokeshire over the next few days as we promote our Manx Shearwater Rescue hotline.

👀 Please do keep your eyes peeled over the next month or so for young Manxies that might become stranded on land.

💡 Please help us encourage anyone living near the cost to ensure their curtains are closed when it's dark outside and if possible to switch off outside lights to help reduce artificial light attracting young birds landwards.

🤝 We really hope local businesses, community councils and organisations will support us again this year, especially in areas like Newgale, Broad Haven, Solva, Little Haven, St Davids but also in Haverfordwest, Milford, Pembroke Dock and elsewhere around the county.

💨 ⛈️We've got some cheeky weather inbound soon so please do help us spread the word!

🚨 Four rescues. One tense episode. 🚨

Saving Lives at Sea returns tonight at 8pm on BBC Two.

From a yacht breaking apart on a Norfolk sandbank, to paddleboarders stranded offshore, an injured fisherman trapped by a rising tide and swimmers in trouble near Skerries – lifeboat crews are racing against the clock to bring people home safely.

Tune in to BBC2 next Tuesday at 8pm to hear about a rescue of a mother and daughter on a paddleboard from Will, Mike and Jemeima.

Thank you for the delicious cakes and the shipwreck chart

We have been donated these fascinating shipwreck charts and will be selling them to raise club funds in Thursday evening on the quay when the lifeboat visits. We will also be running a cake and book stall. Hope to see you there.

Solva Harbour Visit ⚓️

This Thursday evening, our All-Weather Lifeboat will be launching at 5.30pm and heading straight to Solva Harbour.

Our pop up shop will be on Solva Quay from 6pm with Name the Bear raffle tickets and an array of lifesaving gifts on sale.

Tours of the lifeboat will be possible from 6.30pm.
