Solent Removals are looking for a part time Luton Van Driver/Removals Porter - could be extended for the right applicant.

The Role:

To safely move our customers furniture and personal items, previous removals experience would be an advantage but is not essential as we provide training.

To safely drive our vehicles, complying with all driving laws and regulations in the UK.

Working as part of a removals team.

To work effectively and professionally to the company standards.

Requirements:

Professional and smart in appearance

Over 23 years old and a clean Driving licence with 2 years driving experience.

Excellent timekeeping

Can-do attitude

What you can expect:

Part time position Monday to Friday.

Good rate of pay

Busy day with 3 customers booked in.
A small move between 2 flats,
A move from a house into storage,
and a small internal move of a few items for a return customer.
Here we have clip of part of our team and some of our lifting equipment (shoulder dolly) absolute life saver on heavy items, making them more manuverable and a safer hold for the boys. (no squashed fingers😊)

Lovely customers today for our last move of 2025!
2 vans loaded beyond expectations before 11am and 16yr old disabled son accommodated for and given required space .
Whos nerves dropped and he warmed up to us at the end and now everyone's friends.
