So come along for FREE security marking and bike checks for the summer. Bring a kite and take part in the Kite Festival too!

Looking for some company on your rides this summer, then why not join Southend Wheelers on one of their Sunday rides catering for all abilities on a road bike.

Don’t ride solo this Sunday — Come join ours!

Looking to build confidence, meet new riders, or simply enjoy a supportive group ride? Our Introduction to Club Runs is the perfect place to start — and it’s happening this Sunday and every second Sunday in the month into the winter.

We will match you to the right group, ride at a comfortable pace, and make sure no one gets left behind, finishing with a well-earned coffee provided by Doodle Brew back at the village hall.

Ride details
• Start time: 9am (arrive 8:45)
• HQ: Canewdon Village Hall, Lambourne Hall Rd, Canewdon, SS4 3PG
• Pace: We ride at the speed of the slowest rider — supportive, steady, social

Bring a roadworthy bike, drink, helmet, puncture repair kit, and weather-appropriate clothing.

We welcome all abilities men and women, so stop thinking about joining a club — come experience it. Turn up this Sunday, ride with us, and discover how good group riding can be.
