Help us to find you, faster and more efficiently.

We get a lot of breakdown calls everyday and sometimes members can't tell us exactly where they are, which can make it a challenge for us to get to them.

If you had our WaterNav App downloaded, you can click on the SOS button which tells us exactly where you are, this would always be a much better option for our members, because not only can you pinpoint your whereabouts, the app gives you so much more information, mapping and routing. It's free to download and there is a web based version very near to completion coming soon.

We also have a dedicated SOS app to alert to us that you have a problem and to see exactly where you are. If either the SOS app, or the SOS facility on the WaterNav app are activated, you will receive a call from our headquarters to see if everything is ok.

There are many other mapping options and apps, the best of which we have found, other than WaterNav or the SOS app, is What Three Words. If you have this, then we will also be able to find you accurately.

So help us to help you quickly by having these apps downloaded and ready to go should you have an emergency or a breakdown.

A lovely little festival atmosphere is being had by all, we have lots of stalls, roving traders, food stalls, beer tents, boat rides and its all free entry.

There is something here for all the family, come in down today until 5pm and tomorrow 11am until 5pm!

We have amazing news! River Canal Rescue will appear in Channel 4’s Narrow Escapes in the new series 3!

We feature in the first week of the Channel 4 series, airing from Monday 1st June at 4pm and after broadcast on Channel 4’s streaming service.

A film crew followed RCR engineers during two rescues. The first involved raising nb Rosie on the Oxford Canal last June, after thieves ransacked and sank the vessel to cover their tracks.

The second took place at Kelston Lock on the River Avon, where an explosion caused a boat to sink.
