We are pleased to share that Sam, our MD, has successfully completed the trek to Everest Base Camp, reaching 5,364 metres in the Himalayas.

This challenge has been used as an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for Vidya Jyoti, a UK-registered charity dedicated to improving opportunities for disadvantaged children and communities through education and development initiatives.

Thanks to the generosity of those who have already donated, the fundraising total now stands at £5,942.

Our target remains £10,000, and donations can still be made to help support Vidya Jyoti’s work, including:

• Education initiatives for disadvantaged children
• Healthcare support for vulnerable communities
• Clean water and sanitation projects
• ICT learning facilities
• Community development programmes

UCH Logistics has proudly supported Vidya Jyoti for more than six years, and we are grateful to everyone who has supported, donated or shared the fundraising page so far.

Sam has personally funded the entire expedition, meaning 100% of donations go directly to Vidya Jyoti.

The launch of our new pharmaceutical-grade cold chain warehouse in Colnbrook is nearing.

The dedicated facility has been purpose built to handle temperature-sensitive cargo with precision and compliance in mind. It offers:

- Three separate storage zones – freezer, chiller, and ambient
- Temperature ranges from −30°C to +30°C
- 6,000 sq ft of storage space
- Close proximity to Heathrow Airport

Opening date: 1st September 2025

We’ll be holding an open day on the 10th of September, from 11:00–16:00. Visit us to view the site, meet the team – enjoy light refreshments and a glass of prosecco, and discuss operational capabilities. No booking required, just drop in.
