We are aware of the video currently circulating on social media showing one of our vehicles being driven in a manner that is completely unacceptable and contrary to the standards expected from anyone representing PAV Haulage.
Safety is at the heart of everything we do, and we do not condone dangerous, aggressive, or reckless driving under any circumstances. The behaviour shown in the footage does not reflect the values, professionalism, or safety culture that we strive to uphold across our organisation.
As soon as the incident was brought to our attention, we carried out an immediate investigation. The driver involved was not directly employed by PAV Haulage but was supplied through an agency. Following our investigation, the matter was formally reported to the agency concerned and the driver has been removed from PAV Haulage's approved agency driver pool with immediate effect.
Any further action relating to the individual's employment remains a matter for the supplying agency. However, we can confirm that the driver will not undertake any future work on behalf of PAV Haulage going forward.
We fully understand the concern and frustration this incident has caused and would like to sincerely apologise to anyone affected by the behaviour shown in the video. We also appreciate those who took the time to bring the matter to our attention.
PAV Haulage has built its reputation on professionalism, accountability, and safety. We remain fully committed to maintaining those standards and to taking swift and decisive action whenever they are not met.
