📦 Moving house? Avoid these common mistakes! 📦

A little preparation can make a big difference on moving day. Here are five mistakes we often see and how to avoid them:

✅ Don’t leave packing until the last minute. Give yourself plenty of time so you can pack carefully.
✅ Pack a First Night Box. Include essentials like toiletries, chargers, a change of clothes and a kettle so you’re not searching through boxes after a long day.
✅ Label every box. Write both the room and what’s inside to make unpacking much easier.
✅ Don’t overfill boxes. Heavy boxes are harder to lift and more likely to split. It’s better to use a few extra boxes than one that’s too heavy.

A little extra care now can save a lot of worry on moving day. Here are a few simple tips:

🥂 Wrap each fragile item individually.
📦 Use plenty of packing paper or bubble wrap.
🍽️ Pack plates upright rather than flat.
🧦 Fill empty spaces in boxes to stop items moving around.
🏷️ Clearly label boxes as FRAGILE on all sides.

Taking the time to pack carefully helps keep your treasured belongings safe from start to finish.
