A belated Happy New Year to you all! Here at Wheels on Wheels we have been steadily growing, with more people realising the benefits of our vital personal service.
We are not a taxi, we are so much more! We are in fact an external carer. Our service totally transforms the life's of people that struggle with mobility,and the day to day challenges this creates.
MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS
So many people struggle to attend vital medical appointments for a multitude of reasons. Our Wheelchair Access Vehicle can transport wheelchair users to and from appointments in comfort, and without the need for transfer! Equally important is that we will assist our clients whilst at their appointment, and stay with them during this stressful time. We won't just drop you off and collect you after, we will stay with our client at all times, to offer support and assistance when needed. We will not leave until we have safely brought you back to the safety of home.
SHOPPING OR SOCIAL APPOINTMENTS
Whether it is the weekly shop, hair appointment or the vets, we are here to help. Elderly and or limited mobility makes these simple tasks difficult. Apart from the physical difficulty, there is also a psychological impact of attempting to venture out can be equally as debilitating. We are here to totally support our clients, making these tasks achievable, without the stress and discomfort these trips can cause.
COMPANION AND RESPITE VISITS
Being a full time carer for your loved one is not only physically demanding, but also emotionally draining. Although you are their carer, you are also you, and we all need time out to recharge our batteries, and to have our own needs attended to. We recognise this and offer a respite service for carers, and companionship for those who live alone. We will come and sit with your loved one, giving you the confidence to take time out for yourself. We also have several clients who like to go out for a ride, a coffee and even some cases lunch or dinner. Again we fully assist whilst out and about providing vital links to the outside world. It is no fun being a prisoner in your own home, and our service makes life a lot more accesable and safe.
We have hopefully given you an insight into the important services we offer, we are very flexible, and we will do our best to accommodate any situation you may have.
