A fantastic opportunity is available for a 7.5T Recovery Driver to join a young and expanding local breakdown and recovery business. Based in Swanscombe, Kent and covering the Kent, Essex and South London areas, the successful 7.5T Recovery Driver with Mechanics can earn a competitive hourly pay rate plus performance bonuses and commission.
The successful 7.5T Recovery Driver with Mechanics will join this hardworking and welcoming team. As an 7.5T Recovery Driver with Mechanics your main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Attending broken down cars and light vans by the roadside
· Fault finding and repairs where possible
· Loading and transporting broken down vehicles from the roadside to a designated drop off point
· Assisting customers in their time of need
To be considered for the role you must be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative. The company requires all candidates to have recent driving experience and are especially interested speaking to candidates with at least 1 year’s commercial driving experience in a 7.5T vehicle or higher category. In addition, the following key skills and experience are essential:
· Full 7.5T Licence or higher with no more than 3 points on the licence for minor endorsements and no outstanding DD, DR or CD penalty points
· Confident and personable when talking to customers
· Willing to work in all weather conditions
· Empathetic and appreciative of the stressful situation that customers can find themselves in

· Training including induction
Shifts: Day shift either 5 on 3 off or 6 on 2 off average 10-12 hours per shift on a rolling roster; may include late and possible night working as well as weekend and Bank Holiday working as part of the roster. Overtime available.
