Another Smith completing his C+E thanks to WTTL training. Congratulations to all who passed with them! 🚛

5️⃣ 🚛 5 double passes in one day!!! Julian brought home the final tests of the week and kept up with the rest of the team as he brought home yet another DOUBLE pass! Congratulations to Ryan Smith of Les Smith Haulage and Daryll Newman who both ended the week on a high!

You will notice 4 people in the picture as not only was it the end of the week but also the end of an era at Swindon test centre as Neil says farewell and goes off to enjoy a well earned retirement. Neil has been head examiner at Swindon LGV for the last 7 years and i'm sure thousands of you had the pleasure of meeting Neil either as your examiner or prior to that when he worked for us as an instructor and he was getting you prepared to face the examiner! A big thank you to Neil for all his help and work over the last 15+ years and i'm sure you will all join us in wishing him all the best.

He will see this post, so if you would like to comment with your memories and how Neil helped you whether it was as an instructor or examiner i'm sure people have some funny, proud and happy memories to share! 🚛 5️⃣

Start of the year is usually the slowest time for us with a lot of customers slowly gaining momentum through January. This year was different and Monday 02nd January was when 2 additional 26ton Mercedes with truck mounted forklifts joined the Family.

Bringing our truck count to 49 and our fleet count of 110 pieces of equipment gives us the strength to carry your load.

Yard operative / forklift driver required for our pallet network operation in Swindon.

Experience required but full training will be given. Monday to Friday operation with opportunity for extra earnings where requested. Full driving licence preferred.

Something new in the yard.

Looking forward to working with Massey feeds storing and distributing their animal feeds across the south coast.

This should help keep our fleet of truck mounted forklifts busy throughout the season!

Our Mercedes Gigaspace & Palfinger Truck Mounted Forklifts joined 4 new Daf CF 18t & 26t curtainsiders. With tail lifts on the 18t along with sliding roof's, these are suited to our London operation where we are getting asked more for load access through the roof for crane offload. The 26t have rear steer axles and truck mounted forklifts for tight urban deliveries across the UK.

Out with the old and in with the new....

After saying good bye to the last of our Iveco Tractor Units, and with them giving us over 2,375,500 kilometres across the UK it was time to bring in the new boys.

4 Giga Space Mercedes joined our fleet this week. With one of the best cabs on the market for driver retention, these along with our Daf CF 18 & 26 ton trucks and our 2 new Palfinger Truck Mounted Forklifts kick start our fleet replacement policy.
