Tays Forend progressing well this week with both Ade and myself finishing spiking and bolting the garboard planking in, bottom boards trimmed back and the 2nd plank up on both sides only requiring a little bit more fettling each

This week we started steaming planks into the fore-end of Clayton’s tar boat Tay. Thanks to Lawrence and Murray who joined us to assist to make the process easier and thanks to Lawrence for making this video to show this stage of the build. Keeping traditions alive.
