A lot has changed over the years.

The technology, the vehicles and the way hauliers operate.

But despite all that change the role of road freight remains the same, connecting businesses, communities and supply chains across the UK.

As we celebrate National Lorry Week and this year's theme, The Road That Connects Everything, we're reflecting on how far the industry has come while recognising the vital role road freight continues to play every day.

From the products on our shelves to the materials used to build our homes and infrastructure, so much of what we rely on has travelled by road at some stage of its journey.

A couple from Kelsall Steam Rally this weekend 🚛

It was great to see so many people visiting the stand over the weekend, looking around the vehicles and sharing their own transport & Farrall's stories with us.

In 1956, our founders, Eddie and Joan Farrall, made a decision that would shape the future of our business. Instead of spending their savings on a wedding, they invested in an O-Type Bedford truck and founded Edwin C Farrall Transport.

Nearly 70 years later, Farrall's Group remains a proud third generation family business, supporting customers across the UK with transport, warehousing, pallet network distribution and supply chain solutions.

Over the decades, our business has evolved. The industry has changed, technology has advanced, and we've grown significantly.

But our focus remains the same: delivering reliable service, building lasting partnerships and helping our customers keep their businesses moving.
