Celebrating 30 Years of Simon Docherty at RTITB!

Last week marked an incredible milestone for our Centre Manager, Simon Docherty, who celebrated 30 years with RTITB.

We took the opportunity to come together as a team and reflect on Simon’s journey. Along the way, there were plenty of laughs (some stories best kept off Facebook!), but one theme stood out above all else: support.

For three decades, Simon has been a constant source of guidance, encouragement, and expertise for so many across the company. His impact on colleagues past and present is something we’re truly grateful for.

And just to put things into perspective… when Simon started with RTITB back in 1996:
• Trainspotting was on cinema screens
• The Spice Girls were about to top the charts
• And England fans were singing “Three Lions” for the first time, during Euro ‘96

Fast forward to today, and Simon continues to play a vital role in RTITB, delivering training courses and supporting our standards in health and safety and vehicle maintenance.

Simon, thank you for your dedication, your expertise, and your unwavering support over the last 30 years. Here’s to an incredible achievement, and many more successes ahead!

Immediate start, initially through to end June.

The award-winning, Peterborough-based training provider, delivers both in-centre and on-site training, nationwide.

Required :
✅ RTITB Forklift Instructor qualification
✅ The ability to instruct and inspire delegates
✅ Adaptable instructional techniques to suit learning needs of trainees
✅ Opportunity to gain additional qualifications
✅ Excellent Inter-personal skills
✅ Positive attitude
✅ Microsoft Office Excel, Word, basic knowledge
✅ Good levels of administration in maintaining documentation
