A DFT accredited Community Rail Partnership on the West of England Line covering Tisbury, Crewkerne, Gillingham, Templecombe, Sherborne & Yeovil Junction stations The Blackmore Vale Line CRP, launched in 2016, is the local rail partnership covering the stations and 53km route from Tisbury to Crewkerne on the West of England Line between London Waterloo and Exeter St. Together with local people, station groups, statutory and voluntary groups, and businesses the CRP promotes the area to prospective rail passengers stimulating tourism and the local economy. The CRP also works to increase community involvement in its award-winning stations and encourages residents and visitors to use the stations for a wide range of journeys. Together we are:
• Promoting the stations and the regions’ attractive market towns and villages to potential and existing rail-users
• Supporting the green agenda by creating and supporting better rural transport links
•Gardening and creating amazing spaces
• Holding campaigns, events and promoting inter-station colloboration.
• Developing joint CRP working from Salisbury to Exeter.
