Greece just did something to my soul 🇬🇷✨ (island-hopping edition, and I’m already planning the return trip)

We kicked things off in Lefkada, connected to the mainland by a tiny bridge, so ridiculously easy to get to! Surprisingly affordable too, with hidden coves that’ll take your breath away and some seriously delicious food along the way 🥙

Next up, a quick ferry hop to Paxos 🛥️ Total vibe shift, think yachts, glamour, and days made for being out on the water. We hired a self-drive boat for 2 days and explored every inch of Paxos and across to Antipaxos. I’m still not over that water colour. The MOST turquoise I’ve ever seen, hand on heart 💙

Then it was another ferry over to Corfu… and we fell head over heels 😍 We stayed in the most gorgeous villa in the north east with views that stopped us in our tracks. Corfu is so easy to explore by car, and as total foodies we were in heaven with the sheer variety of restaurants. Beach hopping, a day in Corfu Town, and honestly? We’ve already said we need to go back – there’s so much more to see!

Ionian island hopping might just be the perfect Greek getaway 🌊

🍂 If I was going to Vietnam in October, I’d head north… 🇻🇳

October is a fantastic month to explore Northern Vietnam, with more comfortable temperatures and ideal conditions for getting out and exploring the incredible scenery.

Here’s how I’d spend 8 days:

✨ Days 1–2 | Hanoi
I’d start in Hanoi, exploring the atmospheric Old Quarter, bustling markets and temples, while making plenty of time for the city’s incredible food scene.

⛵ Day 3 | Ha Long Bay
Then it’s off to Ha Long Bay for an overnight cruise. I’d spend the day kayaking through hidden caves, exploring the limestone karsts and enjoying the scenery from the water.

🌿 Day 4 | Mai Chau
Next, I’d head into the countryside around Mai Chau, surrounded by rice fields and mountains. I’d visit traditional villages and experience a much slower side of Vietnamese life.

🥾 Day 5 | Pu Luong
I’d continue to Pu Luong Nature Reserve for a day of trekking through rice terraces, forests and rural villages — with some incredible views along the way.

🚣 Days 6–7 | Ninh Binh
Then to Ninh Binh, often called “Ha Long Bay on land”. I’d take a traditional bamboo boat through the limestone cliffs and caves, cycle through the countryside and explore ancient temples.

🍜 Day 8 | Hanoi
Finally, back to Hanoi for a Vietnamese cooking experience and one last taste of the city before heading home.
