Set off from Tonbridge Big Bridge and cruise into the Kent Countryside and The ‘Garden of England’. What we Know & Do
What do we know? We know our boats and the river. We know the area and some history. We know rowing boats and river trips are very popular when the sun shines. What we do is….Run to a schedule, it’s on the website www.tonbridgerivertrips.co.uk we start at 11am and normally close a
t 4pm – weather permitting. What we do is… Provide an hour’s rowing boat hire which will allow most rowers to circumnavigate the sportsground, if you want a longer hire with a stop for a picnic we can advise the best places to go - don’t forget to tie the boat up and keep an eye on it. What we do is...River Trips on our quiet electric launch Enid May providing a guided tour to Tonbridge from the perspective of the river, even the locals say it looks different from the river, so come and have a look, you may even spot an elusive kingfisher. Beside scheduled trips we can take bookings outside normal hours to do almost any trip you could wish for, e.g. we can do a sunset trip, champagne cruise, lock experience, evening trips, scattering ashes trips etc. just contact us [email protected] with your ideas. Even more...we run dawn chorus trips, early mornings in spring, bat watching trips in the summer evenings, and a couple of early evening down river trips, all these trips are in conjunction with “Exploring the Wild” who provide expert knowledge of the birds, plants, wildlife and bats. And on top of all that we can offer a service that includes pick-ups and drop offs at Haysden Country Park. And finally for the dog lovers, we allow dogs on the trips and the rowing boats for free
