Ex Dartmouth naval college Picket boat no 2 launched today after a serious refit and countless upgrades , undoing 50 years of quick refits and slap it on paint jobs. Unfortunately the rub rails and scotsmans were beyond varnish, painting them brown was the most practical solution and easier to maintain going forward.

Bit of a run on bow thrusters recently 3 to fit in the space of a few weeks and plenty of enquiries as a result. We can supply and fit foremost Sleipner/sidepower units alternatively Lewmar and Quik also. All tunnel bonding is achieved using epoxy resins, which is superior to polyester in strength and watertight qualities as recommended by the leading thruster manufacturers. With our training and experience in wooden boat building and repairs,we can confidently fit to wooden craft as well if required. Pictured here is a Holman 46 where we also fitted a side scan sonar in the forefoot of the oak stem-keel!
